Purpose of this position is to lead district-level implementation of the Skills Development Programme by overseeing training, guiding staff, ensuring inclusive learner selection and job placements, while upholding quality and safeguarding standards.
Major Responsibilities:
Finalize the learners, Master Crafts Persons (MCPs), Technical Trainers (TTs), peer leaders in compliance with the applicable criteria.
Conduct MCP and TT orientations, peer leader orientations, MCP-TT linkage meetings, parents’ meetings, and bazaar committee meetings.
Monitor technical training and soft skills classes, learners’ progress and workplace standards.
Solve the Identified challenges of the learners.
Ensure the quality job placement for learners and keep guidance to the Programme Organiser.
Build a network with potential employers.
Ensure staff capacity development through meeting, workshop & training
Check bill vouchers, budgets, and maintain documents.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
