- Strong command of data interpretation, statistical modeling, and academic writing.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities & Context:
Position Overview
The Director, Research and Development (R&D) will lead IOJH’s research division, overseeing study design, data integrity, and research strategy. The role requires a visionary leader with extensive research experience, a strong publication record, and proven expertise in clinical trials and statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IOJH’s overall R&D strategy to align with organizational objectives and research standards.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reproducibility in all forms of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor the research team in study design, data management, and manuscript preparation.
- Provide expertise in research methodology, data visualization, and evidence synthesis.
- Design and oversee clinical trials and research protocols to ensure ethical and scientific excellence.
- Conduct comprehensive data analyses using SPSS, Stata, R, Python, and other relevant analytical software.
- Prepare detailed research reports, abstracts, and journal submissions with clarity and scientific precision.
- Collaborate with universities, hospitals, and research organizations to develop partnerships and secure research grants.
- Facilitate research training programs and workshops to build internal research capacity.
