Job Context:
∎ The main purpose of this senior position is to mobilise sustainable resources for the delivery of BRAC`s programmes. He/she will play a key role in bringing the organisation to a higher level of financial sustainability to improve impact at scale, in support of country programmatic priorities. The Director is expected to build the organisational profile by supporting the development and implementation of a more strategic and skilled approach to resource mobilisation, bringing together existing and potential donors, partners, and other development stakeholders, and engaging them to support BRAC`s mission and contribute to long-term sustainable programmatic impact. The position holder will work closely with BRAC`s programme and affiliate teams, to strengthen resource mobilisation efforts across the organisation. The Director of Global Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships (BRAC Bangladesh) will represent BRAC to national and international donors and other development stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the implementation of the OneBRAC Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships Strategy.
∎ Work closely with BRAC UK, BRAC USA and other BRAC and BRAC International colleagues and coordinate the end to resource mobilisation process across the organisation.
∎ Proactively engage with new and existing bilateral donors, trusts & foundations, multilaterals, and regional organisations to build meaningful and close working relationships.
∎ In close coordination with BRAC, BRAC International and affiliate teams, strategically position BRAC for funding opportunities with new and existing bilateral donors, trusts & foundations, multilaterals, and regional organisations.
∎ Proactively develop key strategic partnerships with international and national NGOs, and research partners.
∎ Work with Programme Teams to leverage their key Programme objectives and develop business opportunities, through the preparation and submission of quality proposals.
∎ Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of core business development processes, tools, information management systems and technical skills of the staff team.
∎ Provide timely and accurate tracking of Programme pipeline, analysis of outputs, and reporting.
∎ Work closely with the Communications Departments in BRAC, BRAC International and Affiliates; expand the branding of BRAC in key high potential areas for funding.
∎ Remain current on the latest funding trends, policies, and innovations for priority focus areas that align with the organisation's current and expanding core business and programmatic priorities.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in successfully establishing and managing collaborative relationships and partnerships with government counterparts, donors and partners.
∎ Proven track record in successfully securing grants from institutional donors such as FCDO, BMGF, DFAT, Global Affairs Canada, USAID, etc.
∎ Experience in managing partnerships with multilateral and regional development organisations and financial institutions, including the UN, the EU, ASEAN, the AU, AfDB etc.
∎ Strong understanding of donor engagement strategies in the Asian and Middle Eastern Markets.
∎ Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a complex international setting, with a proven track record of people and team management and development.
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills; demonstrates mature judgment, trust and open communication; ability to develop collaborative and harmonious relationships with internal partners at the senior level.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and commitment to active citizenship, poverty eradication, global justice, social change, and gender equality.
∎ Ability to work virtually in a global environment and and travel internationally as per requirement.
∎ Proficiency in English is required; fluency in an additional language, particularly French, or Arabic would be an asset.
∎ High proficiency in using computer particularly in- MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Visio, Cloud Computing (Google Drive and Dropbox), and the Internet.
