∎ Self-starter, motivated, ability to work alone and/or in a team, respecting deadlines, ability to deal with stressful situations. Working spirit is essential.
∎ Demonstrated ability in managing Admin, Logistics, and procurement-related responsibilities.
∎ Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills·
∎ Proficiency in Accounting Software, such as Tally.
∎ Good computer knowledge especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Spread Sheets, and Google Sheets, and also should be good in email communication.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Timely preparation of all periodic and annual financial statements of BLAST and its projects, arranging for statutory audit, where appropriate; timely submission of these to the appropriate regulatory, statutory, and other bodies (e.g., NGOAB, RJSC, Donors).
∎ Prepare annual and periodic budgets, and produce periodic management accounts with variance analyses.
∎ Maintain and update financial management strategies and accounting processes and policies to a high standard of accuracy and integrity, complying with relevant accounting standards regulatory requirements, and applicable laws.
∎ Comply with all fiscal, regulatory, and statutory obligations relating to finance and accounting functions.
∎ Maintain, update, and record, in a Manual, applicable financial controls to safeguard assets and preserve the integrity and reliability of accounting records and processes.
∎ Manage the cash and bank position of the organization to optimize resource utilization.
∎ Arrange regular training for all finance and administration staff on the policies and procedures in force to optimize operations and develop people.
∎ Review, update, and monitor organization-wide compliance with policies.
∎ Rental, service agreements, and property management for operational efficiency and compliance with applicable laws.
∎ Physical and documentary safeguarding of the organization’s assets.
∎ Optimum, economic, and cost-effective utilization of the organization's owned and rented vehicles.
∎ Optimum utilization and performance of administrative personnel at Head Office and Unit offices.
∎ Security, cleanliness, and maintenance of Head Office and Unit offices.
∎ Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) at all locations of the organization.
∎ Report to the Honorary Executive Director.
∎ Lead Finance and accounts team at Head Office and Unit Offices.
∎ Supervise Deputy Director, Human Resources, and Administration on administration matters.
∎ Coordinate with Cluster Heads, Directors, and Functional Heads on Finance and Administration matters.
∎ Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings including donor meetings.
∎ Support Cluster Heads, Programme Directors, Functional Heads, and Honorary Executive Directors with information analysis and decision-making.
∎ Establish constructive relations with appropriate Government bodies and law enforcement to mitigate any issues arising.
∎ BLAST looking for a qualified, experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, result-oriented, and sound knowledge person as a Director- Finance & Administration for the Head Office in Dhaka. The Director- Finance & Administration will be responsible for preparing financial statements, budgets, and management accounts for BLAST and its projects, ensuring accuracy and integrity, and complying with accounting standards and regulations. It also involves managing cash and bank positions, ensuring resource utilization, and arranging regular training for finance and administration staff to optimize operations and develop people. S/he will be involved in reviewing and monitoring organizational policies, managing rental agreements, property management, asset safeguarding, and maximizing vehicle utilization, managing administrative personnel, maintaining security, and ensuring HSE, leading finance and accounts teams, supervising a Deputy Director, coordinating with other departments, representing the organization at stakeholder meetings, and establishing constructive relationships with government bodies.
∎ Accounts & Finance:
