1. Installation and Maintenance – Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining medical gas pipeline systems and related equipment in accordance with hospital standards.

2. Daily Monitoring – Check and record pressure levels, alarms, valves, and gauges of the gas supply system to ensure smooth and safe operation.

3. Troubleshooting – Identify and resolve faults, leaks, or abnormal functioning in the medical gas lines promptly.

4. Preventive Maintenance – Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of pipelines, outlets, regulators, and manifolds to prevent downtime.

5. Compliance and Safety – Ensure all work complies with hospital safety protocols, fire safety standards, and relevant medical gas regulations.

6. Emergency Response – Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns or failures in the gas supply system to avoid disruption in patient care.

7. Support During Expansion/Projects – Assist in new installations, modifications, or expansion of gas line systems as directed by the department head.

8. Documentation – Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and maintenance records for system inspections, repairs, and replacements.

9. Coordination – Work closely with biomedical engineering, nursing, and facility management teams to ensure uninterrupted medical gas supply to critical units (ICU, OT, etc.).

10. Training and Awareness – Assist in training junior staff or hospital personnel about safe handling and reporting procedures for medical gas systems.
