Responsibilities & Context: - Maintain effective liaison with various government offices, regulators, licensing authorities, police stations and local administration.
- Ensure timely application, renewal, and compliance of all legal licenses, permits, trade licenses, fire license, environmental clearance, factory registration, labor license, etc. Maintain calendar for all license renewals and proactively coordinate renewals to avoid penalties.
- Act as the point of contact for DOE, Fire Service, DIFE, Union Parishad, Customs, Tax and VAT offices, and other relevant bodies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industrial safety regulations, and government circulars related to factory operations.
- Ensure overall security of all locations including engagement of security personnel and supply of uniform & liveries. Maintain the fire prevention and control mechanism and ensure user training.
- Ensure proper maintenance, insurance, and documentation of all company vehicles. Supervise daily operations, fuel management, and scheduling of company vehicles. Manage and evaluate performance of company drivers, ensuring discipline, training, and readiness.
- Oversee and ensure daily food arrangements for workers, staff, and management. Monitor canteen hygiene, vendor contracts, food quality, and compliance with health standards.
- Forecast and procure office supplies, stationeries, pantry items, safety items, uniforms, and admin tools. Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of administrative goods.
- Manage upkeep and cleanliness of factory premises, offices, guest houses, and common facilities. Ensure repair, maintenance, and service of electrical equipment, generators, air conditioning, plumbing, etc.
- Maintain updated asset registry and inventory of admin items.
- Oversee the rental properties, collecting rent and preparing of agreements. Regularly monitor and update of depot rental and agreements issues.
- Maintain up-to-date files, records, agreements, approvals, and correspondence with authorities.
