Responsibilities & Context:

The DGM/GM – Sales (Three-Wheeler) is responsible for driving national/regional sales strategies, expanding dealer networks, achieving volume and market share targets, and ensuring profitability for the three-wheeler business. This role leads a multi-level sales team and collaborates closely with marketing, product, service, and finance functions to enhance brand presence and business performance.

  • Develop and execute sales strategy for the three-wheeler product portfolio.

  • Achieve annual sales, market share, and revenue targets.

  • Evaluate market potential, competitor activities, pricing, and sales trends to drive decisions.

  • Ensure strong foothold in Three-Wheeler segments across rural, semi-urban, and urban markets.

  • Identify and onboard new dealers to expand distribution footprint.

  • Improve dealer performance through structured reviews, capability building, and business planning.

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate regional sales managers, area managers, and field sales teams.

  • Collaborate with marketing for campaigns, lead generation, digital initiatives, and field activations.

  • Monitor primary, secondary, and tertiary sales for accurate forecasting.

  • Liaise with product and R&D teams to share market insights and customer expectations.

  • Coordinate with service and parts teams to deliver complete customer lifecycle management.
