Preferred skills and qualifications:

B.Sc in Textile Engineering from a BUTEX (Bangladesh University of Textiles).

Experience·        

10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in quality control within the spinning industry.·        

In-depth knowledge and operational experience with Rieter machinery, from blow room (B/R) to ring section.

Proven ability to manage and maintain quality standards across a large-scale spinning unit (e.g., 100,000 spindles).

Position Purpose

The DGM/GM – Quality will oversee the spinning division’s quality control operations, ensuring all products meet company standards and customer expectations. This role includes managing the QC team, maintaining product quality at all stages, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Operate and maintain all QC machinery, including HVI, USTER, Count Tester & all types of modern machineries in spinning lab.

·         Ensure standard parameters are maintained across all spinning products.

·         Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, processes, and policies.

·         Lead and manage the quality control team, ensuring effective training and performance.

·         Conduct inspections across production stages to ensure quality compliance.

·         Maintain QC documentation: product specs, checklists, reports, etc.

·         Collaborate with production, design, and engineering teams to address quality issues.

·         Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

·         Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and operational efficiency.

·         Monitor and analyze quality KPIs (defect rates, customer satisfaction, etc.).

·         Ensure raw materials meet quality standards before use in production.

·         Coordinate with marketing, garment departments, customers, and internal departments.

·         Analyze and report on defects found in finished fabrics.
