Job Context:
∎ Should be capable to accomplish all tasks of the Commercial Department of the group.
∎ Should efficiently handle import /export, Bank, Bond, EPB, cash incentive, Shipping Line, etc.
∎ Capable to lead about 15 to 20 member`s team of commercial department.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all commercial activities
∎ Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping lines, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, VAT department, production department, etc.
∎ Responsible to maintain all licenses/certificates of the company.
∎ Follow up for raw and packing materials and ensure proper selection of HS code for easy clearance from customs and save additional cost.
∎ Communication with confirming bank for adding confirmation of export LC at a competitive price.
∎ Check all export documents required at different levels.
∎ Collect quotations against specific freight forwarders and prepare comparative statements for specific exportable items.
∎ Arrange booking confirmation against export consignments through shipping lines.
∎ Communicate with banks for timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC)
∎ Maintained liaison for cash incentives of specific products.
∎ Check import payments against different L/Cs and prepare retirement/ FDD issuance letter for payment of that respective L/C from export proceeds on the maturity date.
∎ Negotiate with bank for preferential exchange rate for payment of deferred L/C on the maturity date.

∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 7 to 10 year(s) in similar position
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): All activities related to Bank, Customs, EPB, BGMEA, Bond, Import and Export, Government office, Buying Office, Supplier and Commercial activities, etc.
