Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and guide the maintenance department staff, including engineers, technicians, and support personnel, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
∎ Ensure that day-to-day maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting, are performed effectively and on time.
∎ Take charge of coordinating responses to equipment failures, breakdowns, and urgent repairs, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
∎ Develop and manage the maintenance department’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and spending remains within approved limits.
∎ Promote and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities. Ensure the team uses personal protective equipment (PPE) and follows safety protocols.
∎ Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies, including environmental and safety requirements.
∎ Ensure that all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements, are properly documented. Maintain records for compliance and auditing purposes.
∎ Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on the status of the maintenance department, key issues, and future plans.
∎ Develop and deliver training programs for staff to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet quality standards
