Job Context:
∎ We are setting up our distributed teams across the APAC region to open opportunities for the local talent. Currently, our distributed team members are working across Asia, Europe and North America
∎ This position requires experience in basic installations, configurations and maintenance and monitoring of Middleware Applications & Web servers.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage on-premises and cloud-enabled application management services for Middleware servers that provide complete support for the hosted application infrastructure.
∎ Ticket Queue Management and Ticket triaging escalating to senior engineers when required & handing over ongoing issues to 24x7 shifts.
∎ Basic understanding of SSL and Transport Layer Security (TLS) to include Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts/terminology such as Certifying Authority (CA) and X.509 Certificates.
∎ Good understanding of Windows, Linux, and other open-source operating systems.
∎ Critical events first response and remediation as per SOP for Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle WebLogic, IIS, and other business applications.
∎ Organize/perform support and troubleshooting of application/system level and performance issues.
∎ Perform root cause analysis of Middleware software incidents and outages. Manage incidents as per the Problem Management Process.
∎ Apply Middleware software patches, hotfixes, and service packs as per SOP.
∎ Respond to requests for information about Middleware software or operations.
∎ Perform network basic troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network & operating system problems.
∎ Perform Core middleware administration activities as assigned by the Team Lead.
∎ Collaborate with other engineering teams to provide insights and help in Automation with CI/ CD pipeline with DevOps methodology.
