Job Context:
∎ JOB LOCATION: Cumilla EPZ
∎ JOB NATURE: Permanent
∎ OFFICE TIME: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (follow the office time of Ireland)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The DevOps Engineer will have experience working within an Agile environment, implementing and managing complex cloud solutions, testing applications, and developing web applications.
∎ Participate in an Agile environment to develop, manage, and maintain the companies web hosting infrastructure.
∎ Design, build, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
∎ Analyse user/platform requirements and translating them into solution recommendations.
∎ Create and innovate development of the platform and manage the user experience.
∎ QA, testing, and code reviews.
∎ Documentation of systems, procedures, and developments.
∎ Work closely with local and Irish based digital teams, and stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4/5 years' experience with the setup, configuration and maintenance of Linux based web servers, MySQL database, scaling and caching solutions.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is must
∎ Experience managing Code repositories (Git, Bitbucket) as well as versioning and release management.
∎ Experience building eCommerce sites, APIs & Web services, networking and complex stack platforms.
∎ Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure & management
∎ Good knowledge of MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, jQuery and JavaScript,UX/UI. Experience in PHP MVC Frameworks, preferably Laravel a bonus.
∎ Experience using web services such as REST/SOAP or other APIs
∎ Use of issue tracking tools such as Jira - Customer Issue Logging, Resolution and Reporting
∎ An ability to problem-solve and find answers and solutions where information is missing on a task.
