Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
∎ Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
∎ Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
∎ Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
∎ Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
∎ Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
∎ Containerization and Orchestration:
∎ Manage Docker containers and orchestrate using Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
∎ Optimize containerized applications for performance, scalability, and security.
∎ Monitoring and Logging:
∎ Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for applications and infrastructure.
∎ Set up centralized logging systems to track and analyze system logs.
∎ Collaboration and Communication:
∎ Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
∎ Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
∎ Security:
∎ Implement and manage security policies and procedures for infrastructure and applications.
∎ Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices to safeguard systems.
∎ Cloud Services:
∎ Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and manage applications.
∎ Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency.
∎ Scripting and Automation:
∎ Write scripts and automation tools to streamline operational processes.
∎ Ensure code and automation scripts are version controlled and well-documented.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
∎ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems.
∎ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
∎ Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
∎ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
∎ Strong understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
