• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• 3 to 6 years

• Age 25 to 35 years

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe Illustrator

• CLO | 3D Fashion Design

• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

• Able to do design sheet

• Able to do graphicsTechnical knowledge about garments workmanship & operations.

• Able to work with an overseas design team & garments technical knowledge.

• Must have working experience in a Retail Brand.

• Research, Trend Analogizing or Forecasting and offer a range targeted at the customer.

• Design within a range of categories, seasons and group basics.

• Work with technical teams to ensure aesthetically pleasing samples.(Sampling, Printing, Embroidery etc.)

• Work closely with the marketing team and factory to prepare the products per design and collective group capability.

• Hand over technical drawings or tech packs that provide clarity to technical teams to execute accurate samples.

• Good presenting capability.

• Setting showrooms and presenting products in detail.

• Ensure fore planning of season/festival & create design accordingly that suits.

• Visit trade shows & manufacturers to source, select & buy fabrics, trims, fastenings & embellishments.

• Conduct market research to identify new trends, Fabrics, Techniques and seeking fashionable, wearable & trendy design inspiration.

• Plan & Develop ranges, often based on a theme.

• Managing the design process from conception through to final styling.

• Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors & shapes.

• Understand design from a technical perspective. i.e Producing patterns and technical specification for designs.
