Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fashion Design
∎ Any special training or diploma on Fashion Designing and 3D sampling, Product development will be an added advantage
∎ Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology,Bangladesh University of Textiles students will get preference
∎ Training/Trade Course: 3D sample,Fashion Design
∎ Skills Required: Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Auto CAD Designing, clothing design, Communication in English, MS Office, Sound Computer skill

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fashion Designing, Garments Industry, Knit garments, Knit Garments (lingerie item), To use CAD system to prepare knit garment sample and production mark
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Boutique/ Fashion, Garments, Textile

Job Context:
∎ Designer & Product Developer will be accountable for developing seasonal collections from design concept through prototypes up to SMS. The incumbent will be responsible for producing detailed techpacks and following the complete product developments from initial drawing to final sample, liasion with factory and sample department to follow progress according to established deadlines, sourcing trims, fabrics, ordering raw materials and communicating with merchandiser to ensure Price and delivery goals can be successfully achieved.
∎ Capable of identifying new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration. Fashion Trend knowledge in Mexico, Latin American and EU market.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Use CAD programs to create prototypes and translate sketches into detailed techpacks for every style utilizing desginer's initial flat sketch, BOM, specific construction to create garments.
∎ Prepare Techpacks using trend analysis for Mexico, USA, Latin American, European market analysis.
∎ Educate production team with the new garments, fabrics and embellishment techniques.
∎ Maintain and make available all technical data for Design and Merchandising prior to costing during the development phase
∎ Conduct Risk analysis during product development
∎ Follow up the whole sampling status to meet deadlines and ensures accurate samples
∎ Communicate with Merchandising Manager regarding sampling.
∎ Prepare Summer, Winter, Autumn collection for Mexico, Latin American and EU market
∎ Check proto samples to ensure design and quality standards of final products
∎ Check production feasibility with technical team, define construction parameters
∎ Maintain graphic and print design for Men's, Women's and Kid's fashion
∎ Responsibility of Hand Drawing, Cad Drawing Illustrations, Graphic Designs for Product Presentations & Sketches.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 34 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years working experience in Design & Product Development department in Knit and Lingerie Factory.
∎ In depth knowledge about yarn, stitches, fabrics and trims accessories
∎ Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as team
∎ Should be well groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong Presentation and Delivery Skills
∎ Excellent Written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ IT proficiency is must. In all MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Graphic design and Fashion Design related applications and CLO software
∎ Ability to multi tasking and remain organized
∎ Knowledge in different types of dyeing/Printing/ wash/embellishments and styling
∎ Out of the box thinking capacity
∎ 3D sampling will be highly preferable
