Experience:
Bachelor/ master’s in business administration, Accounting, Finance or any other related subject from any UGC approved university or Institute
This position will be the focal person to ensure the overall financial management of the Programme and Coordinate with relevant authorities/donors in terms of financial issues as per Project needs.
Support the Program Coordinator, Project Manager, and PMPC team in budget calculations and accurate cost estimations based on project needs
Assist the Education team in salary and cost calculations related to human resources, and provide comprehensive resource analysis for effective planning and utilization
Develop tracking tools and compile agreed reporting templates to support the Program Coordinator and Project Manager in timely reporting.
Actively participate in budget and account-related meetings to support BRAC management in decision-making processes.
Ensure that procurement and work plans align with the project’s cash flow forecasts.
Monitor all financial transactions and reporting, ensuring Project Managers submit input in a timely.
Supervise budget tracking associates and conduct regular reviews to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Track administrative and procurement-related costs, and collaborate closely to ensure alignment with approved plans and procurement processes.
Maintain documentation of all budgets, donor and internal communications, and budget modifications. Ensure that Project Managers and project staff are informed and that appropriate actions are taken
Prepare FD-6, FD-7, and the Annual Report in compliance with NGOAB requirements, and support government liaison efforts
Assist in preparing the Annual JRP budget and report, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely submission to the sector
Coordinate with Grants and finance and other support function in decision making and actions Organize the capacity building for the staff including the PMs and document the learning with learning division.
Hold responsibilities of final budget and related BoQ and ensure the correct calculations are maintained in all the steps.
Review budgets to ensure alignment with the proposal narrative and work plan, in collaboration with the Program Coordinator and Project Managers
Ensuring the preparation of various donor reports and budgets for both UN and Non-UN.
Develop the financial reports as per donor and BRAC policies and ensure all the indicators and put- put are in line with the approved proposal
Ensure budget holders and managers understand financial performance requirements, including the importance of budgetary control, and deliver financial awareness training when needed
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
