Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters Degree, Preferably in Management/ Social Science/ Economics/ Development Studies/ Public Administration/ International Relations or any other relevant discipline from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide Support to Sr. Programme Manager for the proper program implementation at Bhasan Char as laid out in the Strategic Action Plan in line with the BRAC Strategy in coordination with the HCMP Senior Management Team.
∎ Oversee day to day programme implementation and provide necessary adjustment as require
∎ Provide strategic guidance to colleagues for getting clear understanding on interventions implementation
∎ Keep close communications with stakeholders, monitoring and evaluation, cross cutting & support functions, partnership, disaster risk reduction and advocacy.
∎ Ensure supportive supervision towards colleagues and harvest the best practices and lesson learnt
∎ In coordination with the Sr. Program Manager, pro-actively design and implement fundraising strategies, incorporating donor mapping and communication plans, to ensure that the project components are adequately financed and optimum utilization of the fund.
∎ Provide assistance to Sr. Programme Manager with accurate updated information and opportunities in the project implementation and finalize actions together what need to be done.
∎ Support in development of a Partnership Strategy, and adjustment of required strategic implementation tools.
∎ Support and oversee the implementation of a coherent and strategic emergency response by setting the strategic vision and direction for the team.
∎ Guide and supervise the teams of different components to accomplish the objectives effectively and efficiently.
∎ Help to establish, maintain, and improve active and regular working relationships with the key humanitarian agencies and partner organizations.
∎ Consult and coordinate with the team to identify key actors, likeminded consortium/ agencies for roll out advocacy and involve in quick decision making in rapid humanitarian response.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with consortium/ networks/ alliances as per advice from Area Director and SMT, HCMP as & when needed on behalf of Sr. Programme Manager.
∎ Demonstrate trust, respect, attitude towards safeguarding policy and implement accordingly
∎ Keep close monitoring on developed detail implementation plan, budget tracking and bring require adjustment when necessary in result /impact level.
∎ Ensure enabling working environment including participatory decision making process
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Qualified females are highly encouraged to apply.
∎ At least 05 years of experience in Programme Management or Project Management working in complex & emergencies and in a challenging work environments.
∎ Leadership skill, people management, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams is must.
∎ Operational experience of new programme design, participatory programme planning, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, including application of SPHERE standards and the Core Humanitarian Standards.
∎ Team player with excellent communication and strong participatory leadership skills including capacity building and mentoring.
∎ Experience of supervising and managing a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting.
∎ Ability and personal resilience to work in a fast paced, dynamic and pressurized environment.
∎ Have commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles.
∎ Have good report writing skill.
∎ Have willingness to live and work in adverse situation and work under pressure.
∎ Have ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
∎ Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications.
∎ Have excellent language skills both English and Bengali
∎ Experience of managing multi-donor funding (Institutional, Appeal, Private) and multi-dimensions programmes.
