Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with the company’s goals and market trends.
∎ Lead, mentor and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
∎ Collaborate with senior management to define product development priorities and timelines.
∎ Oversee the formulation and development of new food products, from ideation through to commercialization.
∎ Ensure all new products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
∎ Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and opportunities for new product development.
∎ Organize and carryout analytical activities of Raw & Packaging
∎ Materials and Finished Products and to ensure quality of Product.
∎ Prepare and review SOP’s Specifications and Methods for Raw- Materials, Packaging Materials & Finished Goods etc.
∎ Prepare detailed reports for management on quality trends, deviations, and corrective actions.
∎ Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal quality documentation requirements.
∎ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products meet food safety standards and regulations (e.g., BSTI, ISO, HALAL & HACCP).
∎ Conduct Training to develop and coach Quality Assurance staff through proper coaching, training and counselling to ensure uniform interpretation and application of standards and procedures.
∎ Take overall Quality Control and R&D responsibilities of the plant.
