Additional Requirements:

• Only Male

• Minimum 8 years’ experience for Diloma Engineering & 5 Years for Bsc Engineers in maintenance of electrical overhead & underground line equipment in High and Medium Voltage.

• Strong technical knowledge of HV/MV systems.

• Ability to read and review electrical drawings & protection schemes,Sound understanding of electrical safety and risk management.

• Computer literacy (MS Office, AutoCAD – preferred).

• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in BREB / PGCB / DESCO / DPDC / BPDB projects or other government/autonomous/private power utilities.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Design review, route survey, and supervision of 132 kV, 33 kV, and 11 kV transmission line projects.

• Prepare technical drawings, BOQ, specifications, and as-built documents.

• Ensure compliance with Electricity Act, Grid Code, Safety Rules, and BPDB/BREB regulations.

• Coordinate shutdowns, fault rectification, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Operation and maintenance of 132/33/11 kV substations.

• Carry out installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power transformers, circuit breakers (SF/Vacuum), isolators, CT, PT, lightning arresters (LA), and busbar systems.

• Monitoring and maintenance of the protection & control system.

• Perform HT cable laying, jointing, and termination works for 11 kV, 33 kV, and higher voltage levels in accordance with safety and technical standards.

• Supervise cable termination, testing, and commissioning.

• Conduct and supervise XLPE cable testing, including IR, VLF, Hi-Pot, and Tan Delta tests.

• Supervising reliability-centered maintenance of equipment’s like Transformers, HV & LV motor switchgears, substation, and HT metering all over the 132 KV, 33 KV and 11 KV line equipment.

• Liaison with utilities, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
