Responsibilities & Context:

The Deputy Manager – Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and increase sales across retail and digital channels. The role involves planning and managing marketing campaigns, overseeing digital and traditional media activities, supervising content development, analyzing market trends, and ensuring consistent brand positioning. The position requires close collaboration with merchandising, retail operations, e-commerce, and creative teams to deliver effective campaigns and promotional initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals and brand positioning.

  • Prepare and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans, promotional calendars, and campaign roadmaps.

  • Lead and supervise the marketing team, ensuring effective coordination and performance management.

  • Collaborate with senior management to define marketing KPIs and performance benchmarks.

  • Plan and manage marketing budgets to ensure optimal resource utilization and ROI.

  • Ensure all marketing initiatives remain consistent with the brand’s identity and long-term strategy.

2. Campaign & Media Management

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

  • Manage paid media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, and TikTok.

  • Coordinate advertising activities including online media, print, outdoor advertising, and in-store promotions.

  • Track campaign performance using analytics tools and generate performance reports.

  • Work closely with the creative team to execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.

  • Optimize campaigns based on audience engagement, conversion rates, and campaign analytics.

3. Content Strategy & Development

  •  the creation of engaging and brand-consistent content across digital platforms and marketing materials.

  • Plan and supervise content strategies for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand storytelling.

  • Write, review, and edit marketing copy for websites, social media, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure product content highlights key features, benefits, and brand value.

  • Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual standards across all marketing communications.

  • Collaborate with design, branding, and PR teams to develop creative marketing concepts.

4. Social Media & Community Management

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand engagement and audience growth.

  • Manage social media calendars and ensure timely posting of content across platforms.

  • Monitor customer interactions, comments, and messages, ensuring prompt responses and positive engagement.

  • Coordinate influencer partnerships and social media collaborations to expand brand reach.

  • Utilize social listening tools to understand audience sentiment and market perception.

5. SEO, SEM & Website Optimization

  • Develop and manage SEO and SEM strategies to improve search visibility and website traffic.

  • Conduct keyword research and implement best practices for website and digital content optimization.

  • Ensure website functionality, UX/UI design, and conversion pathways are optimized for performance.

  • Coordinate with web developers and designers to enhance website structure and usability.

6. Email Marketing, Automation & E-Commerce Support

  • Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns for customer acquisition and retention.

  • Implement CRM and marketing automation tools to improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize product pages, visuals, and product descriptions.

  • Monitor e-commerce analytics to evaluate customer journeys, sales conversions, and campaign impact.

7. Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities.

  • Analyze competitor marketing strategies, campaigns, and engagement activities.

  • Conduct customer feedback surveys to assess brand perception and satisfaction levels.

  • Use research findings to improve marketing strategies and maintain market competitiveness.

8. Influencer Marketing & PR Coordination

  • Identify and manage partnerships with influencers, bloggers, and digital creators.

  • Maintain relationships with advertising agencies, media vendors, and PR partners.

  • Support promotional activities including product launches, fashion shoots, and marketing events.

  • Coordinate with visual merchandising teams to maintain brand consistency across retail outlets.

9. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Optimization

  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to measure campaign performance.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data and insights.

  • Present campaign results and marketing insights to senior management.

10. Brand Reputation & Crisis Management

  • Monitor brand reputation across digital platforms and respond appropriately to negative feedback.

  • Ensure all public communications maintain a positive brand image.

  • Implement preventive strategies to manage potential PR or digital reputation risks.

11. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging marketing trends, technologies, and digital tools.

  • Explore innovative formats such as reels, live sessions, storytelling content, and interactive campaigns.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and brand experience.
