Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation/ Post-graduation in Business Administration
∎ 5-8 years of experience in LC opening by maintaining liaison with banks.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify appropriate banks to open LC
∎ Open LC as per the requirement of business.
∎ Maintain liaison with Supply Chain & Bank to review the LC nature, terms & condition in a cost effective manner.
∎ Monitor the post import LC payment to supplier through bank.
∎ Ensure full compliance with UCP 600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits) and other trade finance regulations.
∎ Review LC applications and accompanying documents to ensure accuracy, compliance with international trade regulations, and adherence to LC terms and conditions.
∎ Offer guidance and support to the team in document preparation.
∎ Stay updated on banking procedures and regulations, especially related to LC issuance.
∎ Continuously evaluate and improve LC processing procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce discrepancies.
∎ Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert advice on LC matters.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Strong understanding of UCP 600, Incotrems and other relevant trade finance regulations.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review and analyze complex documents accurately.
∎ Knowledge of risk assessment and fraud prevention in LC transactions.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes.
