Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: To provide technical support for better implementation of the legal aid and VAWC interventions in maintaining coordination with justice actors (Police, DLAC, Judges), coordinate litigation process, enhance knowledge, capacity building of frontline staff, conduct fact finding for SHRC and judicial investigation for Court.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while action as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures.
∎ Practice, promote encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take lead to develop technical capacity of frontline staff and DM for quality execution of legal protection and VAWC interventions, i.e. legal counseling, ADR/ODR, fact finding
∎ Provide technical support to develop different knowledge materials and manuals
∎ Ensure regular coordination with panel lawyers to monitoring the progress of cases and meetings with panel lawyers.
∎ Undertake monthly field visits to legal aid clinic and presence in beneficiaries' workshops
∎ Conduct fact finding for SHRC and judicial investigation for Court.
∎ Take lead on repatriation of trafficking survivors and case management process
∎ Develop implementation guideline of programme/project activities considering the field context and outcome
∎ Enhance facilitation capacity and reporting of front line staff
∎ Take lead in documenting learning and change stories through identifying significant changes at field
∎ Provide critical observation in monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly regional/HO meeting for quality enhancement and ensure timely reporting
∎ Assist in preparing monthly action plan (district wise)
∎ Support to organize/facilitate programme events such as i.e; meeting with panel lawyers, beneficiaries' workshops
∎ Support to establish effective network with relevant stakeholders such as DLAC, OCC, CTC, Police, DSS, Union Parishad, civil society, educational institutions, media etc.
∎ Assist in providing referral services to the VAWC survivors
∎ Support Manage new initiatives and pilot projects, and ensure their successful implementation for future scale up
Additional Requirements:
∎ Able to dealing with VAWC survivors
∎ Have report writing, documentation, facilitation and presentation skills
∎ Competent to conduct workshop
∎ Have capacity building competency
∎ Knowledge on gender, VAWC, judicial process, safeguarding and relevant countries legal framework and organizational process/structure/policies
∎ Have analytical ability, decision making ability, team work, time management, effective communication, drafting legal documents
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field
