Job Context:
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare bill voucher for both CCW & ERW and make payment to vendors.
∎ Record financial transaction in the accounting software.
∎ Record VAT & Tax in the register.
∎ Record keeping to be done as per BRAC Accounting Manual.
∎ Assist in evaluation of bids/ budgets.
∎ Assist Senior Manager, Finance and Admin to prepare monthly/quarterly annual financial report.
∎ Assist internal and external audits providing necessary documents and information.
∎ Ensure development of annual financial monitoring plan with agreed scope and timeline covering CBF and Partner organization to strengthen adequate internal control, required compliances (statutory, CBF, Partner and Donor) and facilitate cross learning opportunities between the partners.
∎ Prepare monthly partner monitoring visit plan in coordination with concerned partner; and share with respective partners and internal team members
∎ Prepare finance monitoring visit report, detailing observations, findings, support and send next level for their endorsement. Facilitate debriefing between partners after each visit to discuss the challenges, findings, and ways forward/suggestions; reflect the same in the visit report.
∎ Follow up on action plan from monitoring visits and ensure accountability is fulfilled both by partner and CBF as agreed. Prepare quarterly report on summarizing the findings and challenges.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy including gender aspects among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
∎ Provide administrative support to Senior Manager, Finance and Admin.
∎ Compile and update employee records, personnel file (hard and soft copies) etc.
∎ Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
∎ Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
∎ Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
∎ Properly receive and inform complaints and grievance to the CBF Secretariat.
∎ Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
∎ Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
∎ Arrange capacity building session for the employees.
∎ Assist to procure goods and services.
∎ Ensure logistics and venue confirmation.
∎ Record and update stock register, asset register and other relevant register as per operational manual of CBF.
∎ Communicate with vendor for the CBF ERP related issues.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience with accounting/finance team in national/international non-government organizations will be given preference.
∎ Accounting, Budget preparation, grants management and financial reporting
∎ Competence in IT (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SPSS, STATA etc.).
∎ Good Communication skills (Verbal and Writing) both in Bangla and English.
