Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/Masters preferably in Environment/ Management/ Business Administration or any other related subject from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute in the implementation of capacity building activities related to project outputs.
∎ Develop and retrofit training module on apprenticeship and enterprise development related to project outputs (PRISE, PROMISE and CSMSEs) in terms of climate change adaptation issues in alignment with the local context and safeguarding livelihood from anticipated climatic extreme events.
∎ Facilitate selection of potential youth entrepreneurs and climate affected Cottage, Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (CMSMEs) based on climate vulnerability assessment of the area.
∎ Design methodology for identification of transversal areas for climate adaptive intervention, development of strategies and adaptation measures for safeguarding livelihood from climate change impacts through training module.
∎ Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) on climate change concept, climate change vulnerability assessment particularly in terms of gender sensitivity and business growth to NGOs and CMSMEs.
∎ Facilitate youth apprenticeship training as a resource person on climate change awareness and adaptation.
∎ Facilitate transformative adaptation through climate adaptive skill development.
∎ Research and conduct study on building resilience through transformative adaption based on the skill development activities of SDP, BRAC.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; preferably in development organisations. Experience in material development, research work and practical work experience in humanitarian crisis situation will add value.
∎ Sound knowledge on Climate Change Adaptation, Resilience, Gender justice and diversity, Community capacity building initiatives, Skill based employment and issues related to environmental and social compliance.
∎ Skills on community mobilisation, participatory mapping and data analysis.
∎ Strong report writing and coordination capabilities to conduct training for trainers.
∎ Experienced in implementing capacity building initiatives at community level.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills and advocacy skill with local and national stakeholders.
∎ Empathetic and respectful towards different race, ethnic communities and gender.
