Experience Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant field – training, and work on Violence Against Women and Children as well as legal rights issues.
Job Purpose
The Deputy Manager, Capacity Building will design, implement, and monitor training programmes on women’s empowerment, legal protection, community mobilisation, and Violence Against Women and Children issues. The role will identify training needs, develop tailored materials, and strengthen the capacity of programme staff and community stakeholders for effective programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate and organise offline and online trainings for programme staff and community stakeholders using appropriate methods and techniques.
Prepare monthly and yearly training plans and conduct training needs assessments.
Develop a training pool through TOT and ensure quality of training.
Support development of new training courses and manuals based on needs.
Prepare training and capacity-building materials for programme stakeholders.
Evaluate training sessions/courses and conduct regular participant follow-up.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly training reports to supervisor.
Collect, preserve, and utilise necessary information related to training and capacity building.
Actively participate in forums (trainings, meetings, workshops, seminars) for self-development.
Coordinate within the programme/department and with external stakeholders.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
