∎ Minimum 10 years working experience in any reputed national or international NGO or any other organization. But the candidate with experience in the organization that implements “Micro Finance Program” with the financial support of PKSF is highly preferred.
∎ Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken Bangla and English.
∎ Proven experience of working in national or international NGO.
∎ Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Budget preparation (all types of financial budget base plans and activities). Besides, the related budget is prepared for the AGM.
∎ Preparing all financial reports (balance sheet, income-expenditure, cash flow statement etc.). Also prepared related financial report for AGM and annual audit.
∎ Coordinating activities related to appointment of external auditors (TOR, Appointment letter of auditor, offer letter ot audit firm etc. ) and resolving problems on financial reports of external auditors and internal auditors.
∎ Ensuring the supply of funds for the implementation of projects and program activities complying with the organization’s policy and sending fund requests to donor agencies in time.
∎ Timely submission of financial reports, budgets, etc. to donor organizations and NDP management.
∎ Maintaining regular contact with donor organizations to maintain dynamics and coordination in financial and accounting related activities.
∎ Ensuring provision of finance and accounts related information to all internal and external account users of NDP.
∎ Ensuring yearly Tax and VAT returns submission.
∎ Ensuring and supporting the use of automation / software in accounting activities of the organization.
∎ Follow-up the activities of all the team members (F&A officials) of the organization and provide assistance when needed.
∎ Any other tasks or duties assigned by the senior management of NDP.
∎ Job Context: National Development Programme (NDP) is a national level NGO (NGO Bureau registration number is 880/1995). Besides implementing Micro Finance Program with the financial support of PKSF, NDP has been implementing service and development related activities under more than 40 projects based on the theme of education, accommodation, health, agriculture, social development with the partnering support of several national and international organizations.Now NDP is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Deputy Director for its Finance and Accounts department under NDP Head Office.
∎ Responsibilities: As the Head of Accounts at NDP, you will play a critical role in overseeing all accounting activities within the organization. This includes managing financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. You will lead the accounting team, drive financial strategy, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
∎ Specific duties and Responsibilities:
