Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong academic background in Accounting to manage the financial operations of our construction company. The selected candidate will perform day-to-day accounting activities using our cloud-based PakkaHishab Construction Management Software.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts and general ledger.
Record all financial transactions using PakkaHishab Construction Management Software.
Prepare financial statements, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor project-wise income, expenses, BOQ costs, and profitability.
Prepare VAT, Tax, and other statutory reports.
Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and audits.
Generate financial and project reports from the software for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from a recognized university.
BBA/MBA (Accounting), B.Com/M.Com (Accounting), or equivalent.
Experience
2–5 years of practical accounting experience.
Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
Experience with ERP or accounting software is preferred. Training on PakkaHishab Construction Management Software will be provided.
Skills & Requirements
Strong knowledge of Accounting, VAT, Tax, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems.
Ability to quickly learn and use cloud-based software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Honest, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
