Responsibilities & Context:

Job Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh (as per company requirement)

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and distribution of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Products (FP) in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns of all materials.

  • Perform material receiving activities by verifying materials against the challan, purchase order, and related documents, and record them in the Material Receiving Record (MRR) and Material Receiving Register.

  • Ensure proper segregation, identification, and classification of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products according to GMP requirements.

  • Maintain and update status labels such as Quarantine, Approved, Rejected, and Returned materials.

  • Monitor stock conditions and inform the Production, Quality Control, and Commercial Departments about any issues related to materials.

  • Implement FIFO (First In First Out) / FEFO (First Expiry First Out) principles to control expiry dates and minimize material wastage.

  • Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies with system records.

  • Prepare and submit monthly consumption reports of raw materials and packaging materials, and delivery reports of finished products, along with daily stock updates.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to warehouse operations for RM, PM, and FP.

  • Check expiry date / retest date of raw materials in coordination with the Quality Control Department, and generate sampling requests for retesting when required.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

  • Monitor and record warehouse temperature and relative humidity to ensure proper storage conditions.

  • Generate and analyze inventory and stock reports to support management decision-making and maintain data accuracy.

  • Participate in DGDA inspections and internal or external audits, ensuring all warehouse documents and practices comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise and train warehouse personnel to ensure adherence to operational procedures, safety rules, and GMP guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment according to health and safety regulations.

  • Oversee routine maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any operational issues to management.
