Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field
∎ Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Officer or similar role.
∎ In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
∎ Familiarity with network protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection systems.
∎ Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
∎ Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
∎ Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and privacy laws.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
∎ Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement the company's cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect sensitive information and critical infrastructure.
∎ Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation plans.
∎ Monitor the organization's network and systems for any suspicious activities or security breaches.
∎ Investigate security incidents, analyze data logs, and prepare incident response reports.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and threats to proactively identify potential risks.
∎ Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures during the development and maintenance of software applications.
∎ Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the effectiveness of security solutions.
∎ Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
∎ Identify security requirements to ensure security of information, network and systems, and propose appropriate controls/measures.
∎ Implement and monitor security controls/measures.
∎ Deploy security updates released by OEMs to the systems, network and end user devices.
∎ Perform risk assessment and prepare reports as per IT Risk Management Framework.
∎ Configure, administer and troubleshoot security devices such as firewall, IPS, IDS.
∎ Conduct periodic system and network scans to find vulnerabilities.
∎ Conduct penetration testing and simulate attack scenarios to assess effectiveness of existing controls.
∎ Perform in-depth investigation of security incidents and prepare reports.
∎ Perform periodic audit of IT assets and resources.
∎ Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and documentation as per the IT Security Policy.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Knowledge of incident response and disaster recovery processes.

∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
