Responsibilities & Context:
  • Pickup and Delivery Operations: Executing scheduled pickups of dirty laundry from customer homes or businesses and delivering clean, folded, or dry-cleaned items back to them within specified time.
  • Route Optimization: Planning and following efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure timely service.
  • Accurate Tracking: Maintaining accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and customer orders.
  • Payment Processing: Collecting payments or obtaining signatures as required at the time of delivery.
  • Exceptional Customer Interaction: Providing friendly, professional, and courteous service to all customers.
  • Addressing Inquiries: Answering customer questions about services, pricing, and scheduling.
  • Resolving Issues: Proactively identifying and resolving minor service issues or customer concerns, escalating complex issues to management.
  • Communicating with Dispatch/Management: ll Regularly communicate with dispatch or the main facility regarding progress, delays, or issues.
  • Recording Preferences: Maintaining detailed records of customer preferences (e.g., special care instructions) to ensure personalized service.
  • Willingness to work up to evening and weekends.
