  • Sound knowledge of Credit analysis and policies and Risk Management principles

  • Good understanding of Basel II, BB`s provision and structure/rescheduling policy, and evolving regulatory guidelines in this space

  • Capable of professional discussions with internal and external stakeholders

  • Computer literacy having good command in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience:

  • 5-6 years of experience in CRM department and at least last 3 years in Corporate & SME credit in a reputed bank or finance company.



Responsibilities & Context:

Position Summary:

Determine customers` creditworthiness by analyzing financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower through visit of client`s business premises/home/office premise depending on loan type, conducting all other necessary due diligence required for extending credit, preparation of credit appraisal report and obtaining Management approval.

Job Description / Responsibility:

  • Pre-screening loan applications in line with credit guidelines, Finance Company Act 2023, ICRRS, EDD(ESRM)

  • Verifying client documents from internal and external sources and conducting field visits to assess financial stability and associated risks

  • Evaluating clients` requirements against their repayment capacity

  • Preparing loan appraisals based on established lending policies and coordinating with Relationship Managers to address queries related to credit proposals

  • Additionally, preparing summaries and documentation for approval processes

  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

  • Monitoring high-risk portfolio clients

  • Sharing industry insights with relevant teams and carrying out any other tasks assigned by management
