Job Context:
∎ The CP Team Leader is responsible for providing support in the various CP functions, which include static and mobile PSS management for children, adolescents and caregivers, staff management, activities implementation, community mobilization, coordination meetings with camp officials and other CP PSS actors, induction and CP training, database coordination, leave and benefit administration, and employee counseling.
∎ Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh) is an international non-profit voluntary organization working in Bangladesh since 1974. Its delegation office is located in Dhaka. The PSS team leader is to be based in the field where Tdh is planning to engage to help the displaced people came from Myanmar and the local community in accessing child protection services. The positions require direct monitoring and implementation of activities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To supervise and conduct the implementation of activities in the static and mobile Child Friendly Space and adolescent clubs.
∎ To supervise and conduct the implementation of activities of the Caregivers program.
∎ To supervise and conduct the registration and awareness session activities of children, adolescents and caregivers.
∎ Prepare, in coordination with key staff, work plans with clear objectives and achievement benchmarks, long-term and short-term priorities, implementation plans, financial projections and evaluation tools.
∎ To coach, support and train the PSS officers, CP Assistant and Community Volunteers on weekly basis in order to adapt the PSS activities to the beneficiaries' needs in collaboration with the CP Deputy Coordinator
∎ Constantly updates the Deputy Coordinator on the project progress or on any modifications that need to be taken regarding the implementation process
∎ To refer beneficiaries with special needs or at risk, and follow up the referred cases' conditions in collaboration with the Child Protection Assistant, Deputy Coordinator and Case management team.
∎ Supervise and fill up the attendance and monitoring forms of the PSS activities.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance on their activities with the beneficiaries to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Reports to the Deputy Coordinator on regular basis on target progress, technical and organizational level.
∎ Daily, Weekly and monthly report to the Deputy Coordinator.
∎ Conduct weekly meetings with the team.
∎ Assure that child protection standards are understood and applied and support the PSS officers, CP assistants and community volunteers in establishing a clear referral system
∎ Maintain and strengthen the relations with the other organizations dealing with CP and psychosocial support.
∎ Maintain and strengthen regular contact with site management agencies and camp in charge officials.
∎ Represent Tdh in field base camp coordination meetings.
∎ Manage the procurement of the activities and update the stock report on weekly and daily basis.
∎ Any other task relevant to the position or asked by the supervisor to implement.

∎ Prior Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in Child Protection field based PSS/CP activities MANAGEMENT with INGO or Local NGO is required. A prior experience in managing staff is required.
∎ Skills and Abilities: Organized, discreet, and people oriented. Possess strong communication skills (both oral and written), able to communicate with tact and diplomacy, and be able to work effectively with employees at all levels of an organization. Skills with MS Office applications -Word, Excel, PowerPoint - and the capacity to learn new software applications.
∎ Language Proficiency: English and Bangla skills are required for writing, typing and speaking. Ability to speak the Chittagonian dialect is a MUST. English Language and Chittagonian dialect proficiency will be tested.

Salary: Tk. 55400 (Monthly)
