∎ Responsible to: Clinic Manager
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall planning and providing psychosocial support to the affected communities, based on their need
∎ Conduct assessments and screenings to identify individuals with mental health concerns and determine the appropriate level of care they require.
∎ Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to address specific mental health needs of refugees.
∎ Organize and facilitate group therapy sessions where individuals with similar experiences can come together to share their feelings, provide support to one another, and learn coping skills in a communal setting.
∎ Provide information and educational sessions to refugees on mental health topics, stress management, coping mechanisms, and the importance of seeking help when needed.
∎ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for individuals with complex mental health needs.
∎ Engage with the community to create awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and encourage help-seeking behaviors.
∎ Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and any relevant information regarding the individuals under their care.
∎ Refer cases and liaise with relevant sectoral focal in the assigned camps
∎ Assist in developing content and facilitating Para counselling and Psychological First Aid training for community support group and Rohingya Volunteer.
∎ Prepare and Share weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports or any other reports of counselling.
∎ Ready to perform any job given by the organization at any time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Three (3) years experience in working for psychosocial support.
∎ Experience in working for psychosocial support, especially for post-traumatic stress disorder of marginalized/vulnerable groups in Rohingya Camp environment.
∎ Experience and understanding of case management and analysis.
∎ Flexibility in working hours because of the emergency relief nature of Global One's activities
∎ Excellent knowledge of protection and SGVB minimum standards and basic principles.
∎ Ability to work independently and take initiative.
∎ Passionate about the rights of refugee people.
∎ Skills in report writing, documentation and presentation.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
