Job Context:
∎ Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD) emerged from an emotional response in 1976 to help women in need of reproductive health care and counseling. Then it became an organization and being implemented various projects with support from different development partners in many areas. Its vision is to empower women of Bangladesh to achieve better status within family and society. The CWFD`s mission is to support promote and protect interest of women in Bangladesh by providing community-based health care, empower under privileged adolescent and youth, helping to provide legal support to girls and women- who are victims of domestic violence and develop human resources for positive social changes. Currently CWFD has been implementing the "Community Mobilization Program" in partnering with SMC.
∎ POSITION TITLE: Coordinator under the Adolescent Health Campaign
∎ Job Location: CWFD HQ,Dhaka / Barishal
∎ Vacant Position: 01 (One)
∎ Duration of the project: May 2023 to September 2023 (5 months)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be located in the CWFD HQ, Dhaka or Barishal under community mobilization program activities in 28 Upazilas and 09 district of CWFD working District. The person will prepare monthly activity plan, prepare monthly and quarterly report, Supervision and monitoring regular field activities, organize and conducts School Health sessions at the different schools, College, Madrasha and community level of working areas, The person will also prepare all kinds of project reports, documents and submit to the Project Manager in a regular basis.
∎ The incumbent will maintain all kinds of liaison, coordination and effective communication among the stakeholders, donor representatives and other stakeholders for effective implementation of the Adolescents Campaign activities. The coordinator will oversee the Women Entrepreneurs called Gold Star Members (GSMs) activities and assist her provide technical supports to create awareness and selling of public health products to the School, College, Madrasha and community people by the GSMs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Have good facilitation, communication, networking and team building skills.
∎ Have good writing skills in preparing report in English and Bangla
∎ Have experience in extensive field movements
∎ Have good knowledge accounts and admin related activities
∎ Excellent computer literacy and report writing
Salary:
∎ Selected candidate will be offered consulted Tk. 30,000/-(Salary 25,000/- Transportation bill 4400/- but at actual, Mobile bill-600/.)
