Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strengthen M&E systems to ensure proper monitoring and supervision for the smooth project implementation
∎ Ensure monitoring & supervision according to the monitoring & evaluation plan
∎ Provide technical assistance or training on monitoring & evaluation and reporting
∎ Provide expertise in M&E planning and methodology design, strategy design
∎ Determine performance indicators and targets
∎ Lead on-going development of an M&E system and tools to enable all project components to collect, aggregate and support analysis of data
∎ Provide required reports considering, determining data analysis procedures and use of quantitative or qualitative analysis tools and Cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data with analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data and summarizing findings
∎ Ensure all related compliance of programme and cooperating partners
∎ Ensure CBT requisition, planning and progress report of four components of the project
∎ Ensure MIS update on regular basis
∎ Provide Support for beneficiary selection process as per given criteria and develop beneficiary profile
∎ Responsible for providing technical oversight & support for establishment and maintenance of routine monitoring systems, presentation of findings to program management and building staff competencies in M&E
∎ Visit the project sites for the purpose of monitoring & evaluation
∎ Provide guidance through regular monitoring & supervision, analyse the target vs. achievement scenario and resource mobilisation
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly monitoring report (with observation & recommendation, if any) and send it to supervisor for presentation
∎ Lead the end of project learning review
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience is required. Candidates having experience on M&E in the field of climate change and disaster risk reduction will be preferred
∎ Demonstrated skills in monitoring framework and policy development, indicators setting, log frame preparation and interpretation
∎ Excellent presentation skill with sound knowledge on relevant reporting system
∎ Strong managerial skill with excellent written and oral communication both in English and Bangla
∎ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, SPSS and other monitoring and evaluation tools and software
