Due to the nature of the work, the incumbent must stay at the free residential facility located within hospital premise.
Reverend Abdul Wadud Memorial Hospital (RAWMH) is a 100-bed general hospital located in Tilok, Rupsha, Khulna. The hospital offers a wide range of healthcare services through its Eye, Mother & Child, Dental, ENT, Orthopedic, and General units. We are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Coordinator- Marketing and Public Relations at our hospital. The Coordinator-Marketing and Public Relations will be responsible for planning and implementing the hospital’s outreach, public relations, and marketing activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and submit the monthly work plan by the 25th of the preceding month, and the annual work plan at the beginning of each year.
Act as the first-line supervisor for hospital staff including SACMO, gardener, gardener cum cleaner, sweeper, doorman, nanny, nanny cum cleaner, and laundry person.
Organize monthly eye, dental, and integrated health camps in coordination with the Coordinator-Community Health, Program Officer (Leprosy), and Purchase & Commercial Officer.
Maintain strong coordination with government bodies, NGOs, banks, insurance companies, industries, mills, and other institutions to build partnerships and arrange corporate service agreements.
Maintain regular communication with public representatives, religious leaders, rural doctors, Eye Mitra, blood donors, and other key community actors, organizing periodic meetings and ensuring community engagement.
Provide necessary advice and support to patients to ensure a positive service experience and high satisfaction.
Handle any hospital or patient needs during holidays or after hours until regular office time resumes. If needed, inform the Hospital Manager as necessary and follow up on all urgent matters after the holidays.
Prepare, publish, and distribute promotional and informational materials (calendars, posters, leaflets, banners, billboards, brochures, etc.).
Draft and circulate press releases for key health sector events, field activities, and celebrations; coordinate with local and national media for publication.
Maintain minutes of all meetings as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintain and update statistical records related to camps and field activities.
Take necessary actions to achieve the targets of the action/work plans.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the supervisor regarding achievements and progress against work plans.
Support the supervisor in administrative duties, including license renewals, property management, and tax/rent payments.
Ensure the protection and monitoring of the organizational assets and infrastructure.
Any other tasks for organizational needs as assigned by the supervisor or higher management.
After being permanent upon successful completion of the probation period (six months), other benefits will be provided as per the organizational policy, i.e., provident fund, gratuity, festival bonus, yearly increment, staff insurance (kormi Bima), medical allowance (Kormi Sohayota Tohobil), etc.
