Experience:

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

FCPS/MS in Ophthalmology or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by BMDC. Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

• Age At least 40 years

• Examine, diagnose and treat patients with ophthalmic diseases and disorders.

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations using appropriate diagnostic equipment.

• Manage outpatient (OPD), inpatient, emergency and referral ophthalmology cases.

• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures according to competency and hospital privileges.

• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

• Deliver evidence-based, ethical and patient-centered care.

• Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and informed consent.

• Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

• Comply with hospital policies, protocols, infection prevention and patient safety standards.

• Report clinical incidents and adverse events promptly.

• Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.

• Teach and supervise intern doctors, residents and medical students.

• Participate in research and academic programs whenever required.
