Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/post graduate degree in Medical Science (MBBS). Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics. (DGO) will be additional qualification of the position.
Job Context:
∎ The USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and New-born Care Strengthening Project (MNCSP) is a five-year activity designed to contribute to the Health Population Nutrition Sector Program’s (HPNSP 2017-22) goals for reducing maternal and neonatal deaths by increasing equitable utilization of quality maternal and new-born care services. It is a consortium project where The Save the Children is in leading role but DASCOH work as Implementing Partners. DASCOH intends to contribute to an improved health status, with special focus on maternal, neonatal and child health, primarily in selected district. To achieve the goal, DASCOH facilitates DGHS, DGFP and other GoB stakeholders to improve availability of MNC service providers at facility level. The Consultant Gynaecology supposed to provide technical support to conduct C-Section at Kalmaknada Upazila Health Complex of Netrokona district. S/he will play a mentorship role to improve the service quality through on the job coaching to the service provider at UHC and UH&FWC for increasing facility delivery especially NVD but also assist in improving the efficiency of the caesarean section at UHC.
∎ The staff must follow the rules and regulation of the organization especially the Child safe guarding and gender disparity. The policy includes-at any situation could never abuse any child it any form of touching, gesturing, torturing or any other means. To be very careful to the protection of the child and never torture or appoint any child as servant and/or any incidence then and there report to orgnisation management as well as to Save the children. Similarly, Gender rule/policy should also be followed strictly. Both the cases, organization have a policy of “Zero Tolerance”. Violation of the rules may resulted termination or dismissed.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide ANC and PNC services to the pregnant women at UHC level
∎ Diagnosis & treatment rendered to High-risk cases appeared at the out door.
∎ Provide counselling services for PPIUCD patients.
∎ Breastfeeding advice& lactation management corner.
∎ Provide treatment to all sorts of gynaecological patients
∎ Counselling for Family planning and provide services available related to FP
∎ All admissible patients are referred to indoor.
∎ Provide support for initial stabilization of Maternal Complication Management.
∎ Provide technical support to manage admitted patients related with maternal health.
∎ Providing Emergency Obstetric Care services
∎ Performing emergency caesarean and other emergency operations.
∎ Routine Follow up of the patients, multidisciplinary approach.
∎ Evening round for admitted patients by ON Call Consultants.
∎ Mentorship support to the FWV working at UHC and UH&FWC
∎ On the job coaching to the service provider on MNCH services
Additional Requirements:

∎ Excellent in team work, networking and communication.

Salary: Tk. 102751 (Monthly)
