Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context: The Construction Engineer will play a key role in supporting on-site operations and project execution. The role requires strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidates who can communicate in Chinese, as coordination with Chinese engineers and partners may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, executing, and supervising construction projects from start to finish.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to design, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering professionals.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction codes.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, daily logs, and site records.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support during construction activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, including Chinese-speaking supervisors or partners when necessary.
