∎ At least 7–10 years of experience in leading large-scale consortium-based projects, preferably in marine conservation or livelihood development.
∎ Strong leadership, negotiation, and team-building skills.
∎ Proven experience in working with multi-stakeholder partnerships, including NGOs, INGOs, government agencies, and donors.
∎ Excellent communication and advocacy skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Strong understanding of gender and social inclusion principles.
∎ Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Consortium Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the project and ensuring its successful implementation. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
∎ Leadership and Coordination
∎ Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the consortium partners for effective project implementation.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact for all consortium members, ensuring alignment with project goals and donor requirements.
∎ Facilitate regular consortium meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan activities.
∎ Represent the consortium in national and international forums, promoting the project’s objectives and outcomes.
∎ Project Management
∎ Oversee the development and execution of project work plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
∎ Monitor and evaluate project activities across all consortium partners to ensure quality and impact.
∎ Foster collaboration among partners to leverage expertise and resources.
∎ Ensure compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies.
∎ Reporting and Documentation
∎ Prepare high-quality project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and impact assessments, for submission to donors and stakeholders.
∎ Ensure the proper documentation and sharing of lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
∎ Develop advocacy materials to highlight project achievements and influence policy discussions.
∎ Stakeholder Engagement
∎ Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, donors, private sector actors, and community representatives.
∎ Advocate for policy and institutional changes to support the sustainable management of marine resources.
∎ Promote gender equality and social inclusion in all aspects of the project.
∎ Risk and Resource Management
∎ Identify potential risks to the project and implement mitigation strategies.
∎ Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of financial and human resources.
∎ Support capacity building for consortium members and field teams.

∎ Uttaran is the host organization of the Consortium invites applications for the vacant position titled- Consortium Coordinator for the Fisherfolk Integration for Sustainable Habitat and Natural Ecosystem Transformation Project
∎ Reports to: Director, Uttaran
∎ Main Duties & Responsibilities
