Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sensitise citizens on Bangladesh Water Rules 2018 and Guidelines of IWRM and encourage them to comply with approved water regulations.
∎ Disseminate government plans and policies among citizens/water asset owners.
∎ (Re) form water management organisations and support them to adopt appropriate IWRM related practices.
∎ Map and appraise existing water management related organisations.
∎ Provide inputs towards developing guidelines for activating water management organisations to adopt IWRM compliant practices.
∎ Orient key representatives of water management organisations in oversight functions related to water resource management.
∎ Organise water management organisations meetings to share and practice appropriate water resource management as per the guidelines.
∎ Equip citizens to monitor the compliance with rules (including BWA 2013, BWR 2018, Guidelines) and the quality of water related services.
∎ Strengthen citizen engagement in existing institutionalised systems of engagement with UPs and Pourashavas
∎ Facilitate regular discussions on BWA 2013, BWR 2018, Guidelines, tariffs and incentive systems in UP/Pourashava/citizen forums.
∎ Form and orient citizen watch groups to monitor compliance with rules and quality of water related services and processes.
∎ Village wise participatory appraisal of water resources through PRA.
∎ Orientation of asset owners in appropriate water management practices and O&M system.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent inter-personal communication skills.
∎ Minimum 5 years experience of working in reputed organization's in programme implementation.
∎ Sound knowledge on community management, WatSan and local governance.
∎ Good health condition, energetic and willingness to ride motorcycle in the remote area.
∎ Should have a valid motorcycle driving license.
Salary: Tk. 19875 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Tour allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Health Insurance and Leave Benefits will be entitled as per organizational policy.
