Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure equal participation access in camp activities for all groups.
∎ Coordinate with CiC and CBP to set up camp community governance structure.
∎ Promote, facilitate and coordinate a participatory approach among all stakeholders.
∎ Encourage community participation through neighborhood watch schemes, care groups for persons with specific needs and recreation groups, sports and celebrations.
∎ Promote and coordinate capacity building activities.
∎ Ensure community participation in the activities taking place in the site (i.e. distributions, planning, care and maintenance, site awareness raising activities).
∎ Facilitate and coordinate training for committee members in the camp.
∎ Support committees to monitor activities in the camp including education, water, care and maintenance, site improvements etc.
∎ Ensure effective feedback or complaint mechanism.

∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications
∎ Have excellent language skills both English, Bengali, Chittoganian.
∎ Have knowledge and understanding about gender and participation issue.
