• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy

• 2 to 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age 22 to 32 years

• Ability to visit and stay all over Bangladesh (Frequent field visit is required)

• Ability to work with different cultural people

Job Context

Shishu Polli Plus a project of ` The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh` working for destitute women and children at Sreepur of Gazipur district is inviting applications from the qualified candidates for the position of Community Development Officer (CDO) for Rehabilitation and Livelihood Development Section.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively solicit and collect referrals & Networking/liaison with referral organization to add more destitute mothers and children with Shishu Polli Plus (SPP)

• Visit destitute mothers and children in their communities and make recommendations for admission as per our criteria

• Continue all procedure of Admission & Observation period run up & help to set up them at SPP

• Collect all admission related documents/papers of respective mothers and children and prepare personal file of all admitted individual (mothers and children)

• Plan prepared for pre-discharge home visit of respective mothers at their community and continues all assign work through visit (like as open bank account, liaison with local government & school etc.)

• Keep all Mothers’ & Children Record and any kinds of related data and input to the BIMS software

• Liaison /networking with local GO, NGO, others & linking our re-integrated beneficiaries to facilities in the community

• Prepare post discharge visit plan & visits (first visit within one week) including following up children`s education in school at community level

• Compile post discharge visit information & input it relevant document

• Gather information about income based activities according to district

• Admit new mothers to fulfill monthly target

• Follow up and visit beneficiaries based on situation (need based /emergency)

• Assist team to set suitable IGA training plan that link with mother`s community resources & availabilities

• Conduct universal training for admitted mothers and children on relevant issues like money management, child rights etc.

• Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly and half yearly plan & report in BIMS Software

• Participate in monthly, quarterly & other meetings, training session (need based)

• Keep beneficiaries status/register/file/documents updated in BIMS Software

• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management

SPP will provide Single Accommodation as Residence to stay at project.
