Job Context:
∎ Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to implement the Empowering Community through Systematic Engagement and Feedback Mechanism in Rohingya Refugee Camps and Host Communities in Cox’s Bazar Project in Cox`s Bazar funded by UNICEF.
∎ The project Duration is one year from the project awarding. The job is contractual for the project period with a 3-month period of probation. The position will be recruited for implementing the project based at the FIVDB-UNICEF SBC Project Office at Cox`s Bazar, with substantial field activities at different camps and host communities at Ukhia and Teknaf.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
∎ Under the supervision of the Program manager and in collaboration with colleagues work to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of the project activities related to orientation, training, workshops, and campaigning.
∎ Effectively manage all budget items related to trainings and capacity buildings to ensure spending is timely and in accordance with donor requirements.
∎ Prepare activity and training reports for review by M&E Officer and submission to Programme Manager for approval.
∎ Work closely with Programme Manager to develop and review appropriate training materials.
∎ Maintain clear records and data on all trainings and capacity building sessions while collaborating with Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
∎ Participate in Training of Trainers sessions and rollout of these trainings to other staff.
∎ Support Monitoring and evaluation Officer in documentation of best practices, success stories and taking good pictures for report writing.
∎ Monitor progress, indicators, challenges and risks in implementation of capacity building activities.
∎ Support the Program manager in maintaining close coordination with government, development and humanitarian partners.
∎ Design and implement tools for verifying training needs and measuring learning outcomes of targeted groups.
∎ Support the Program manager to ensure quality of capacity building activities through planning, participation, observation, formulation of recommendations and monitoring of follow-up.
∎ Ensure collecting, planning, distribution and appropriate place for hanging the IEC/BCC materials.
∎ Ensure compliance with FIVDB, specific donor and Government of Bangladesh.
∎ Maintain capacity building training database for the Project as per requirement.
∎ Strengthening team member’s knowledge, capacity and developing successor of the team.
∎ Participate in different levels meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops as per need of the program.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit, oversight and guidance to staff enabling successful performance of duties.
∎ Undertake any other duties as required by the Program Manager.
∎ The post-holder will comply with all relevant FIVDB policies and procedures with respect to child safeguarding, safety and security, code of conduct, equal opportunities and other relevant policies.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in communications & capacity development roles in NGOs, INGO, UN or development agencies; preferably in field level work in Camp.
∎ Readiness to join with one week's notice
∎ Dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and difficult environment
∎ Practical, quick, reasoning skills; must be able to communicate with all parties of the project
∎ Demonstrated ability for people management
∎ A team player; committed to motivating and leading staff
∎ Clear understanding of the working of major donors and their perspective, requirements and standard
∎ Able to work and manage in a hardship post and willingness to frequently travel in and out of field
∎ Excellent language skill in English and Bangla
∎ Prior experience of working in greater Chittagong Division and knowledge.
∎ Understanding of local culture.
∎ Good behavior with the coworkers
∎ Should not be involved in any illegal behavior, such as theft, illegal drug use, intoxication, or violence, are grounds for immediate termination.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 68000 (Monthly)
∎ 10% of the Basic Salary will be deducted as Staff Security Fund (Payment made after project closing/ Leave from FIVDB) Deduction of Tax at source

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays, Mobile bill
