∎ Age at most 40 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Import & Export, Opening of L/C, Liaison with Foreign Supplier/Buyer, Local Indenter, VAT, Custom and Group of Companies work order, etc.
∎ Import and Export processing through Bank, EPB, BGAPMEA, Customs, etc. Preparation of Import and Export Documents.
∎ Must be able to work independently as head of the Commercial department and supervise the team to ensure that Custom, Bond, VAT, Clearing & forwarding, import-export and incentive issues, etc. are properly negotiated
∎ Forecast commercial activities and take a proactive approach
∎ Ensure proper LC opening up to the standard of organization
∎ Communicate with suppliers and ensure the best bargains
∎ Communicate with freight forwarding companies and shipping lines to accomplish proper C&F
∎ Deal with various financial activities and ensure cost minimization
∎ Plan and monitor commercial activities according to the long-term goal of the organization
∎ Must have to ensure compliance with local and foreign regulations along with the policy of the company
∎ perform any other relevant task assigned by the Top management
∎ To underscore the need to open LC for a particular product
∎ Ensuring payment against LC by bank
∎ Checking and controlling H.S code, Proforma Invoice, LC draft, Final LC copy, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of landing
∎ Monitoring and Tracking Bill of landing and Airway Bills and checking the status of shipment
∎ Ensuring collection of all shipping documents from the bank and forwarding the same to C & F Agents from time to time
∎ Managing custom clearance and documentation.
∎ Ensure Transportation/delivery of goods from ports
∎ Liaison with banks and insurance companies
∎ To coordinate bank lending service
∎ Oversee companies’ liability position with banks
∎ Weekly/ Monthly/ Fortnightly preparation of L/C statements
