Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
Overseeing the Commercial Department:
- This includes managing the team, setting goals, and ensuring efficient operations.
Managing Export and Import Documentation:
- This involves handling Letter of Credits (LCs), banking transactions, and shipping coordination, as well as ensuring compliance with EPZ regulations and customs procedures.
Liaison and Communication:
- Maintaining effective communication with buyers, shipping agents, banks, EPZ officials, and other regulatory bodies.
Financial Management:
- Monitoring commercial budgets, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial reports.
Compliance:
- Ensuring strict adherence to EPZ regulations, customs laws, and bonded warehouse management.
Coordination with Internal Departments:
- Collaborating with other departments like production and logistics to streamline processes.
Team Leadership:
- Providing guidance and mentorship to the commercial team, fostering a productive work environment.
Strategic Planning:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of commercial strategies.
Risk Management:
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks, ensuring smooth operations.
Reporting:
- Preparing and submitting various reports to regulatory authorities and company management.
