BSc in Textile Engineering (From BUTEX – preferable)

Strong expertise in color matching, shade control, and spectrophotometry

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven experience directly interacting with buyers, brands, and merchandisers

Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills

Cost-conscious mindset with focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop accurate lab dips, approve bulk dyeing recipes, and maintain an optimized recipe database to ensure bulk-to-lab consistency.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for buyers and merchandisers regarding shade approvals, color issues, and technical clarifications.
  • Oversee all color lab activities, including lab dyeing, spectrophotometry, and sample preparation, ensuring equipment calibration and procedural consistency.
  • Resolve bulk production color issues, including reproducibility problems, metamerism, and shade variations, through structured root-cause analysis.
  • Analyze and address buyer color complaints, providing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Optimize dyeing recipes for cost efficiency, compliance, and sustainability without compromising quality.
  • Lead new dye, chemical, and process trials in collaboration with R&D and production teams.
  • Perform initial quality inspection of all incoming dyes and chemicals to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and international standards, maintaining consistent shade performance during bulk production.
  • Guide, train, and supervise color lab team members, ensuring skill development and high performance.
