Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Experience with CI/CD deployments using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring & alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
• Understanding of networking & identity basics in Azure (VNets, RBAC).
• 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.

Proven experience managing Azure infrastructure, including:

• AKS (Kubernetes): scaling policies, node pools, monitoring.
• Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server: backups, HA, performance tuning.
• Blob Storage & Container Registry: private endpoints, secure access configuration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-availability architectures, multi-region deployments, and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and budget management.
• Experience with multi-region deployments and DR/HA strategies.
• Skilled in developer enablement: creating cloud foundations that accelerate engineering teams with automation and guardrails.
• Exposure to hybrid networking and identity integration (VPN, ExpressRoute, AAD).
• Awareness of compliance requirements (SOC2, GDPR, etc.), but focused on infra enablement.

Overview: NECX, in collaboration with Troubleshoot Limited is hirirng for building secure, real-time communication platforms for agencies and organizations handling highly sensitive data. We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize our Azure-based infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on infrastructure architecture, performance, cost efficiency, and scalability. You will manage Azure environments, AKS clusters, databases, and IaC workflows to ensure our systems are robust, maintainable, and ready to grow.

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy and optimize Azure infrastructure with IaC.
• Manage AKS clusters, scaling strategies, and observability.
• Maintain Azure PostgreSQL and Storage with reliability and cost in mind.
• Implement CI/CD deployment workflows with a focus on efficiency.
• Collaborate with product engineers to ensure infrastructure meets application needs.
• Continuously improve cloud cost efficiency, monitoring, and developer enablement.
• Contribute to DR/HA planning for mission-critical workloads.
