Responsibilities & Context:
1.Assessment and management of speech, language, voice, swallowing, and communication disorders.
2.Providing individualized speech therapy and rehabilitation plans.
3.Improving patients’ communication, speech clarity, and swallowing abilities.
4.Counseling patients and caregivers regarding therapy and progress.
5.Working with multidisciplinary medical teams for patient rehabilitation.
6.Evaluating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing difficulties.
7.Planning and conducting therapy sessions based on patient needs.
8.Helping patients improve communication and daily functional skills.
9.Managing disorders such as aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia.
10.Monitoring patient progress and updating treatment goals.
11.Educating family members about home-based communication strategies.
12.Maintaining therapy documentation and clinical reports.
13.Collaborating with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
14.Using evidence-based techniques for rehabilitation and recovery.
15.Supporting patients emotionally during the rehabilitation process.
