Job Responsibilities:
∎ Liaise with the Telco/ Towerco/ Financial Institutions - Build and maintain close ties with the concerned Technology and Sourcing team and regularly follow up on development of the projects offered.
∎ Provide Technical Briefing for Products - The Client Support Engineer field calls about technical issues with products and services in the offering by the company. He is expected to troubleshoot and diagnose problems via phone, research resolutions, apply methods, and run tests to ensure that specific issues have been properly addressed.
∎ Complete On-Site Diagnostics and Service Calls - The Client Support Engineer is expected to respond to issues in person through discussion with the clients, explain the product, both hardware and software and ensure about client's understanding.
∎ Generate Problem and Resolution Reports - The Client Support Engineer keep adequate and up-to-date reports that outline problems they've resolved and how they fixed an issue. These reports and notes can be kept as a sort of manual to help resolve similar issues in the future.
∎ Optimum Use of Resources - The Client Support Engineer is expected to ensure optimum utilization of resources like spare parts, logistics etc.
∎ Sales and Renew Service Contracts - It would be the Client Support Engineer's responsibility to discuss service contracts with clients. They present the benefits of such contracts, negotiate renewal terms, and outline what services are attached to specific types of contracts.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Technical-minded, detail-oriented individuals with analytical and negotiation skills
∎ Technical skills - strong knowledge of electronics, computer systems and processes are essential
∎ Computer skills - from software to various applications, the Client Support Engineer must understand the design of and resolve issues
∎ Mechanical skills - an understanding of how various types of security equipment operate is a crucial ability
∎ Troubleshooting - the ability to run diagnostic tests and determine the causes of errors or problems is one of the most important aspects
∎ Time management - resolving client issues in a timely manner to keep project completion time to a minimum as is the ability to efficiently manage their own time, as they often work with little or no supervision
∎ Organizational skills - keeping track of common issues and maintaining accurate reports are important abilities
∎ Communication skills - Need strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in English, to discuss product and solution issues with clients and both local and overseas partners/ vendors. Written communication skills is required to prepare proposal, reports and other paperwork
